Correct posture style for long office hours

People expected to work for long hours at the office find it quite challenging to prevent the aches and pains because of having to work on a computer throughout the day. It is quite common for them to bend forward, into the computer. This places a lot of strain on their backs.

Nevertheless, there are some really easy to adopt techniques so that you can avoid back pain.

As far as possible, go for an ergonomically correct chair. At the time when you are seated at your desk, you should check the position of your computer screen and adjust your chair in such a way that your eyes and the computer screen are at the same level. Your knees should be placed a bit lower than your hip joints.

You should have your feet placed in such a way that they are flat on the floor. Your wrists should be positioned comfortably on the desk. Your shoulders should be relaxed. Besides, the most important thing is to take breaks away from your computer. You should get up at regular intervals, walk around and stretch.

Make sure you don’t lift your shoulders while working at the computer. You should not sit perfectly erect as it strains the back even more. All other office equipment, such as a calculator, should be arranged in an accessible location to avoid straining your body. Take care that you don’t drop your head forward because the chair will no longer be supporting you. Do not use your computer in inadequate light conditions. Straining to see the screen will lead to added stress on your body.

If you invest sufficient time in learning what to do and what not to do will lead to a better feeling of well-being. This will help you stay fresh so that you can enjoy the evening after leaving from work.
